‘Another One for Spicoli’ is a return to Back Beach, a logical choice after the earlier painting “One for Spicoli.” This piece captures the dynamic scene of breakers in the background, spray whipped up by the classic Taranaki southerly wind, and a powerful shore break. I love how Back Beach transforms depending on the angle, weather, and time of day, as illustrated by the spectrum of blue and green hues across three distinct waves in this painting.
